After leaving the Army, where I served as an Intelligence Analyst, I had the opportunity to enroll at Kansas State University. Although I was already trained in the precise discipline of military intelligence, I sought a traditional education that would complement and expand my skill set.
Kansas State University, with its rich academic tradition and comprehensive curriculum, proved to be the perfect choice. As a non-traditional student in the Management Information Systems (MIS) program, I embarked on a path that merged my past experiences with new knowledge.
The course work, ranging from database management to network design and systems analysis, not only provided me with an understanding of modern business technologies but also reinforced the value of strategic thinking and problem-solving skills I had developed in the Army.
