As the Manager of Analytics & Engineering at Team Select, I was pivotal in driving the company's growth and success. Being one of the first hires after the initial private equity investment, I had the unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the shaping and expansion of the company. My role enabled me to merge my technical expertise with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry.
My journey at Team Select was marked by rapid growth, with the company successfully securing another round of private equity investment during my tenure. My leadership, technical innovations, and strategic vision played a significant role in demonstrating the company's value to investors and setting it on a trajectory of continued success.
As a leader, I managed and nurtured a team of up to 8 data scientists and software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and efficiency. I partnered with department heads to shape strategic analytical and technical visions, paving the way for our business growth.
The transition from early-stage investment to the next level of private equity required comprehensive technology integration. I led our team through the integration of multiple systems, including numerous Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, ensuring optimal performance and seamless workflows.
My tenure at Team Select saw the company's tremendous expansion, from a fledgling start-up to an operation spanning 12 states and generating hundreds of millions of dollars annually. This growth was a testament to our team's hard work and the strategic, data-driven decisions we made.
A crucial part of my role was communicating complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. This included the CEO, Private Equity Partners, and investment bankers, who all needed a comprehensive understanding of both our business goals and the technical infrastructure that supported them. I bridged the gap between business and technology, ensuring alignment and synergy across all aspects of our operations.
